Commander's Log: March 22 3300

Time: 11:00 PM
  System: LHS 3006
  Station: Leonard Nimoy Station

After a long stint of grueling missions I can't write about, the Federation finally promoted me to Post Commander.  I feel this is a perfect time to make a pilgrimage to Leonard Nimoy Station to pay my respects and take some pretty pictures.

Commander's Log: March 08 3300

Time: 8:08 PM
  System: LP 91-140
  Station: Parise Hub
The locals need me to deliver Medical Samples to LP 91-140 to find cure for god knows what.  I hope these canisters are properly sealed.  Time to dust off the Steel Dragon and make a little cash and rep.
Time: 8:33 AM
  System: LP 91-140
  Station: Parise Hub
The doc grinned and say the samples were "perfectly safe" as he signed over my 11,000 credits.  I'm not sure this makes me feel any better.  LP 91-140 Has nothing for me here. Plotting a route to Chup Kamui to see what's out there, maybe I can get some reputation with the local federals.
Time: 8:49 PM
System: Core Sys Sector DV-P A5-1
  Station: Space
Got into a turning match with an adder piloted by Cocopoobee in supercruise. Decided to move on to my next system. Naturally, as I start to head out, he attempted to interdict me as predicted. I submitted, scanned him for bounties and promptly destroyed him.  6,000 credits is pretty good money for an adder who's being a nuisance.
Time: 8:54 PM
  System: CV-P A5-3
  Station:None
Decided to scan down Core Sys Sector CV-P A5-3 - One Lousy planet, nothing exciting.
Time: 8:57 PM
  System: Weir
  Station:None
Scanning down Weir, handful of planets around a brown dwarf, no surprise no one setup a station here either.
Time: 9:10 PM
  System: Chup Kamui
  Station: Artimes
Arrived at Artimes Station in Chup Kamui. Found a few friendly blue collars here. Looks like the union needs some 6 tons worht of semiconductors.  I think I can get some at Lamarck Orbital in Nanabozho, hopefully the job covers the cost.
Time: 9:20 PM
  System: Nanabozho
  Station: Na
Some moron in a viper got the jump on me coming into the station. I barely had a chance to scan him for warrants before he exploded all over my hull. I've never had someone crash into me in an attempt to win a fight before. Looks like a smooth 14,500 credits for me when I get into Lamarck.
Time: 9:35 AM
  System: Nanabozho
  Station: Lamarck Orbital
Lamarck Orbital had the semiconductors after all. Just found a quick scrap delivery job to Arare Which I could have sworn was an empty system. Time to find out where Noriega Port is in Arare after all and then head back to Chup Kamui to collect on the Semiconductor job.
Time: 9:40 PM
  System: Arare
  Station:
No wonder nothing showed up on the maps, Noriega Port orbits Arare, if you can call it an orbit, at 3,000 Ls. There is -nothing- else in this system.
Time: 9:45 PM
  System: Arare
  Station:
Another interdiction attempt by a Sidewinder. I'll submit to this "Wombie the Wombat" character, if nothing else just to watch him die. Sure enough, he's a novice, has no shields and thinks he can take my Cobra. 1389 Credit bounty? Not even worth real bullets, you can eat laser fire from the Steel Dragon.
Time: 9:48 PM
  System: Arare
  Station: Noriega Port
Approaching Noriega. It doesn't orbit any local bodies, so I don't have any gravity wells to slow me down. Overshooting this one is going to be very easy, as evidenced by my three slingshot approaches. The station is owned by Arare Public Services, which is kind of funny because the only lifeforms in this system are here because of this station, which I doubt can even harness any solar energy from the young T Tauri star at this distance. Looking at the system map, this station still doesn't show up... I should come back some time and get a better look around, someone has to have secrets here.
Time: 10:00 PM
  System: Chup Kamui
  Station: Artimes
Arrive back at Artimes in Chup Kamui. Dropped off the Semiconductors. Looks like they need food and non-lethal weapons now. What would that be? Inflatable night sticks? Oh, well, I'm not here for the morality, I'm here to do a job. Looks like I can get the cop toys from Nanabozho, but I need to find a source for the Algae after that. Who the hell eats algae anyway?
Time: 10:13 PM
  System: Nanabozho
  Station: Lamarck Orbital
Picked up the Non-lethal weapons. The guy I bought them from was a little weird. Kept talking about how we have to build a fence to keep out the "illegals".  He pronounced it "e lagals", though. I don' t think anyone has told this guy he lives on a rotating space station... Started shopping around for the Algae, as one vendor put it "these people are all red blooded workers, they eat meat and potatoes, even if they drink a lot of tea". He said I should check out HR 8061 and that maybe they are exporting the green stuff. Well, 20 Light years isn't that bad on the gas, but it means I'm losing money on this job, I'll have to find a way to make up for it.
Time: 10:30 PM
  System: HR 8061
  Station:
Just got into HR 8061. While I'm pulling into Bowen Dock, the local Federation patrol yanks me out of supercruise. Then they didn't scan me or even acknowledge me. The damage to my ship just cost me 8000 credits!!! Jerk offs. I'll leave a complaint before I leave Bowen station, the least they could do is salute a Lt. Commander when they see one.
Time: 10:34 PM
  System: HR 8061
  Station: Bowen Dock
Got my two tons of Algae, but not before getting to hear about all the neat things you can make with it and how it's good for your soul or some crap like that. It appears that people are crazy everywhere you go. Looks like the locals need someone to take a few tons of Grain to LT 8456. Also looks like I can drop off some pamphlets on joining the Federation to Veroandi Baker Orbital while I'm out here. I've been there before, nice people, but like to keep to themselves. Maybe I can meet up with Steve while I'm out there and get a cup of coffee before I head to LT 8456.
Time: 10:45 PM
  System: Veroandi
  Station: Baker Orbital
Made it to Baker Orbital without incident. This is a gorgeous station, I've always loved the display floors you can see from outside the station. A small fleet of Eagles, but my favorite is the few Cobras they have hidden away. Steve wasn't on station, something about visiting his cousin at Vardeman Gateway, I'll catch him next time. Looks like the Empire security rep is in, I can collect on the 43,000 Credits some worth of bounties they owe me. Trip well spent. Left Steve a note that I'd be back in a few weeks to have him change some of my decals. He does good work and he'll do it for me for the cost of a good steak dinner. Time to get over to LTT 8456 to drop off this grain.
Time: 11:00 PM
  System: LTT 8456
  Station: Chadwick Installation
The local baker was excited to get the grain. Said it's their first large production run where they are making their own flour for the bread. Kind of cool. Looks like the local feds need me to deliver some employee records to the next system over. At 0.84 Light years, I could practically walk there.
Time: 11:06 PM
  System: Ehecatl
  Station: Michelson Port
Dropped off the "employee records". Those guys didn't look like they were hiring anyone. In fact, if I were to guess correctly, they were military black ops. They were just the right kind of uptight. Time to head back out to Chup Kamui and get rid of the non-letahl weapons and this Algae, which I swear is fermenting.
Time: 11:15 PM
  System: Chup Kamui
  Station: Artimes
Got back to Chup Kamui. Dropped off the weapons without incident. The Algae however... well, crap. The guy that ordered it was practically in hiding. Had to hunt him down and when I finally find him, he's smoking some crazy concoction half blitzed out of his mind going off on how "they will never get in his brain". When I brought up the Algae he promptly told me how it was the food of the gods and how it was going to change the world or some B.S. like that. Well, not with two friggin tons it aint. Got the Algae unloaded and he still wouldn't shut up. I finally just grabbed his hand so I could put his palm print on the delivery receipt. At this point I'm not sure if I care if he pays me.
Time: 11:16 PM
  System: Chup Kamui
  Station: Artimes
Walk back to the Steel Dragon and get the local maintenance crew to help me put a dust cover on her. It seems stupid, especially considering I fly her up to the face of stars 20 times a day when I fly her, but it feels nice. Plus, it helps keep the local teenagers from defacing the work Steve does for me.
